2019 Lincoln Continental with Coach Doors review (suicide doors)

Lincoln Continental. I like a classy new Lincoln, so for the Continental's 80th anniversary, Lincoln decided to pay homage to the 1960s Continental by adding

coach

doors

to the vehicle and actually commissioned coachbuilders at Cabot e they had the vehicle extended where they extended it six inches. Now Lincoln produced all the materials that you'll see inside here and sent them everything they needed. to do the six-inch stretch, but they were given the task of stretching the vehicle. No, this is really exciting when the Lincoln Continental first debuted in 2016, the original model had

, so the concept version debuted with

suicide

doors. term you want to use, but when the vehicle actually went into production it didn't get the tourist style doors and I think the car lost a little bit of excitement now I think it was probably done to keep the price down, as you know this is over $100,000 . equipped, it only comes equipped on the Black Label model where you can get the black, white or blue exterior and you can get the black or white interior.

Now the customer ordered this one with the black interior and I think he made the right choice. Check it out. here now these doors open 90 degrees and then you have your custom plated illuminated sills here and this is number four of 80 and you see your 80th anniversary badge right there, then you look at where the rear hinges are located. As I said, an additional six inches of legroom was added to this rear seat. It can fit anyone back here. I mean, I'm 510 and this is just ridiculous. I think Shaq could fit back here. I don't know about you. every man, he's pushing him, he's like seven years old; she colonial could definitely fit comfortably back here.

Cabot Coaching also installed this right here, although it's part of the Continental, if you get the rear seat package you would get this, but this part here is a pass-through on the original Continental, so it was a nice little touch. It makes the car a four-seater, but I'm sure anyone who buys this vehicle has other cars that seat five people and more. It also has a small ice bucket here. for drinks or to keep champagne cold so I thought it was a nice little touch for Lincoln and a little bit of luxury for the back seat and then you get a picture of this Christian.

I'm going to cover the name on him, but you can see I added a custom nameplate here, we don't want to give the guys away in the open, the name Timothy, really cool car, they knocked it out of the park with this. I was so excited when they announced this about a year ago. They are making order banks. Right now there could be 150 that will be available for 2020 so they only made 80 for

they sold out like this in two hours this vehicle sold out and you can see why guys I mean this is a lot of cars even for more than a hundred.

Great, this is, besides Rolls Royce, the only car on the market that you can get that has coach doors and also has rear inflatable seat belts, but it's not a new feature for the coach door, but it's a really cool feature. nice for the people in the back seat, this acts as another airbag for anywhere in the back seat and then if you look over here, you actually have a massage seat back here with a little privacy blind. Your privacy blinds go all the way up here, giving the Continental a more upscale feel, and then you can recline. the seat you're sitting in and this is really cool, if you're on this side you can adjust the passenger seat in the front so if you get chauffeured you can move that seat in front of you which is A really nice touch also has its Eli Qing door handles.

If you look at it here, all you have to do is close the door, it sucks you in. The front end here is still very similar to the Continental, it's not exactly the same. but the entire look of this vehicle was impeccable, a huge one to wrap around. I like how they darkened the badges on the side here to show that it's a black label vehicle, so when you get a black label, you darken it. Continental badges, they put a line across the wheel on any black label vehicle, they even black out the lettering on the back that shows Lincoln and one thing I like that Lincoln does with their vehicles is that you don't see a lot of things happening back here.

You know you don't see 3.0 and this is a 400 horsepower 3.0 twin turbo engine. You don't see all-wheel drive. You know, just Lincoln, that's all you need to say. Keep it classy. Keep it simple, but thanks for joining. guys, on to that trip, cars already paid for and bought, glad to be able to
