These are all Dollar Tree DIYs and I will share the original links below so let's go ahead and get started. I know what you think should be number one starting with number 20. I'm going to use this plastic serving tray from Dollar Tree. You can find it in the party section and they have tons of different styles. Now I want to try and get this one. a terracotta colored folk art has this really pretty village color, but I've been using Rust-oleum warm caramel, now you're going to paint the inside and outside and with some

dollar

tree

nautical rope, I'm going to start attaching it . the edge, so I'm going to do this on the outside first and then work my way to the inside once I get to the inside.

I'm going to add two little handles using the same rope. Look how beautiful this is and also super simple. I can't even tell that this is a

dollar

tree

serving tray for the number 19. I'm using this little dollar tree votive glass. I'm also going to use some beads I had leftover, but you can use the dollar tree beads they have. different styles, but I really like using the unfinished ones because they come in the same size and some dollar tree floral wire, so I'm going to start stringing some beads and they'll be enough to cover the bottom and the top, which it's 27 beads and then I'm going to twist them, cut them with some side cutters or pliers and make sure the tip is really stuck in there so you don't hurt yourself.

20 best dollar tree diy high end crafts of 2020...

I made two of those now. I'm going to take another piece of wire and I'm going to string it on a random bead, I'm going to twist it and I'm going to start stringing some more beads and this will be the length of my jar, so for everyone it will be a little different depending on how you want it. I'll string it on the top row and then place it on my beads now that it's there and I've twisted it. I've decided that I want to add a row every seventh bead, so I'll do the exact same thing until I go, so once I finish a row, I'll go ahead and cross it. another counts seven backwards and fits it in the middle where they meet and does the same thing over and over until he's done, so mathematically there's no reason why I did every seven counts, but you can go ahead and take the amount of accounts. what you have and divide them by an even number if you want something a little more concrete each new row I'm making I'm crossing it in the middle and joining it where I started my original beads now you can add a handle I didn't choose to add one to mine because I'm going to light candles on this, but this is the original from Michael's and this is mine for number 18.

I'm going to use this cylinder vase from Dollar Tree that you can find. This in the floral section I'm also going to use this paper from Michaels. You can get them for 79 cents or you can print something from your computer, but this is a 12 by 12 paper using a dollar tree mod podge. start brushing it inside and out and you'll see why, so when I start adding my paper, I'm going to work and make sure it's nice and straight, no air bubbles. then when I get to the top I'm going to create some notches using some scissors and this is going to make my life a lot easier by getting a nice clean edge instead of cutting it off I'm just tucking it in so I don't want to put water on this this it's more for fake flowers, this is Michaels and here's mine number 17.
20 best dollar tree diy high end crafts of 2020
I use this plunger from Dollar Tree, but of course you can skip the plunger and get a wrist wand that you don't need. I have to use the whole dollar tree. I unscrew the bottom and you can go ahead and cut it off, but I left it on just to give it a little more length. Now what I'm going to do is use some beads. You can use the dollar tree ones like I mentioned, they have different styles and different colors and some come in the same size, especially the hair ones, but I think Amazon is a lot cheaper.
Use a needle and tapestry thread or twine to attach the beads. Place, this makes life so much easier, but if you don't have an upholstery needle, the dollar tree in the hair section has sewing needles for wigs and weaves, you can use that too. They come in different styles. When I made this, I think I made a 60's, 40's, and 20's row to get a tiered look, but you can make this as big or as small as you want, with a little string handle at the top to make it easier to hang. and with a dollar tree hula skirt which, of course, is a summer item.
You can go ahead and use this or you can macrame some dollar tree yarn with twine. I did this because it was a shortcut and I really like the way it looked compared to the natural beads. I also went ahead and added tassels to mine that I had. tassels from a dollar tree tassel chandelier that I created years ago so I placed them randomly as you can see there is the chandelier and now I am going to straighten the bottom to give it a V shape you can leave it as is or I can make what I'm doing and just use a yardstick or a dowel to help you cut this into a straight line.
Number 16 is using these little popsicles in the dollar tree craft square section. Now I'm going to line them up if you don't want to waste money on this. You can use some stir sticks from Lowe's or Home Depot, but I'm going to go ahead and use them. I'm going to use my square tool to straighten them out and some dollar. tree glue these are nice and thick so using the glue won't leak on the front but make sure you have a protective layer on the bottom so now that it's nice and straight I'm going to add some popsicle sticks. the middle pieces to make it safer I'm not going to add them to the part where they have separations because you will be able to see them, but those pieces that make the two palettes come together are definitely a great place to add them Also in the middle I turned it around and some of the paper was stuck to the glue, so I'm going to use a dollar tree sanding sponge to remove all of that.
You can use an orbital sander if you have one, but this is the easiest. Likewise, if you don't have a tool, now I'm going to use these push pins from Dollar Tree. You can find them in the office section or the back to school section. I punched them out of an old piece of cardboard and gave them a coat of spray paint and now I'm going to use a drill to create little holes where I want them. I marked this beforehand. I put them on using a little glue on the tip just so it stays in place because if not it will fall off, I added this dollar tree home sign of course you can customize yours but I love the color because I wanted a nautical look, I added a dollar tree anchor, let it dry and this is what I was left with number 15.
I'm using another vase of course you can find it in the floral section and this will basically be a larger version of the ones little cups I created. They're supposed to be like Moroccan lanterns, so I cut out a design and I'm going to lightly spray it with water on the back, so I relax the paper. Add it in the middle. You can add a little spray, but I just added more water. Make sure it's straight and you'll want some gold paint. one I already have has a tip, just make sure you're constantly wiping the tip on a piece of paper because you don't want this to blow up on your design and take your time.
You can also do it freehand if you wish. I would like this to be what it looks like, let it dry completely because you don't want to stain it once it's dry. Get some mod podge from Dollar Tree and add it to a bowl, cup, whatever. Have some food coloring of your choice so you can Mix a pretty color and water. You want it to be runny, not too runny, but runny enough that you can put it all over the vase or jar you are using, so it will start to spin, take your time with this. because you don't want any air bubbles until you get to the bottom and everything is covered let it spill back into your cup if you want to make another one or if you want to make something smaller and then add this upside down to the aluminum foil so it can continue dripping if If there is any point missing, just pour some again and do the same.
If you don't have another item you want to dye, you can use the original mod podge bottle and simply pour your mixture. Put it back so you can use it later occasionally lift the vase and wipe the rim because it will drip when it looks completely dry, bake it face up on a baking sheet, you will bake it at 200 degrees for about 20 to 30 minutes and let it cool in the oven here's what it looks like and oh my gosh I'm in love with number 14 and one of the easiest ones but one of the biggest transformations is using this dollar tree pine cone.
It's in the summer section, I'm going to remove all the tinsel and take this apart. I'm going to use some side cutters or pliers to remove those little pointy things and then I'm going to take the top apart as well. I'm going to give her a coat in this beautiful almond color of krylon and with a hula skirt or you can also use raffia, but the hula skirt is much neater. I'm just going to tape this down so it doesn't move. and then start creating small braids. You're done with each braid, flood the bottom with a little hot glue and now it's time to reassemble.
I also reassembled using hot glue and every time I cut, I flood the end with a little hot glue as well. and I'm going to cover each of those little rows and a few more, it's up to you if you want to cover them all or add more, but once you're done, just add the top of the pineapple and I use this. Dollar Tree LED Candle just look what a big difference this makes number 13. I'm going to use this pizza pan. You can find it in the cooking section of Dollar Tree. Remove the sticker and now with this paper I bought at Michaels again.
It's like 79 cents. I'm going to try to cut this as round as possible and then modify it on the back. You can modify the podget in the front. I like the way it looks on the back better. once i had it in place i will use an x-acto knife to get a more precise cut to cover that edge. I'm using some nautical rope from Dollar Tree and will start hot gluing it. position it until it has gone all the way. I think I made this twice and once it was around, I created handles using some floral wire and dollar tree beads, so I'm going to tuck the ends in until I have this crimp.
A little piece starts to go past my beads and I'm going to curl the other end and hot glue them into place. You can also clip them on or use an e6000 to make the rope look a little neater, grab a lighter and quickly run it over it. I don't want to hold it for too long and then you can secure the beads in place. I use thinned brown paint to make them a little darker, but you can use any color you want and this is what you have left with number 12. I'm going to use dollar tree raffia.
I unrolled a package and tied a small knot at the top. I cut off the excess raffia and then taped it to a table. You can also secure it in a drawer so you have a nice straight braid all the way to the end, you can tie the end or flood it with hot glue, it's totally up to you. I use these dollar tree mirrors. Note that they come in two different sizes and I painted them the closest color I could. the raffia and went all the way. I think I used maybe two braids for this or three, so I covered everything and then used these wooden picks from Dollar Tree that you can find in the party section.
I cut some of them out and then started putting them in this is one of the easiest

crafts

and it doesn't look like it came from the dollar store at all number 11 and it's actually a bonus craft because I'm going to take that tray that I used before and remove the handles and on the back I'm going to add some string so I can hang this now I want this to be really secure so I'm adding e6000 and hot glue but if I had to do this beforehand I probably would I've drilled two holes and basically tied the handle in place.
I have a tutorial on how I made this with wire once, but I made this craft afterwards, so once it's nice and dry, I'll grab the same mirror we just made. done, which I think was number 12 and then I'm just going to hot glue an e6000 that's in place and this instantly makes your mirror look bigger and more interesting, so you're combining two

crafts

in case you You get tired of them and you see how beautiful, this one looks number 10 and is one of the most practical and one of the videos for which I actually went viral on tick tock.
I'm going to use these little boxes from Dollar Tree that are in the Crafter Square section and some from Dollar Tree. wood glue and I'm going to put the two together now I'm going to hold them in place and for this I just use the dollar tree binding clips, let it dry really well. I usually let it dry overnight, although that's not necessary and I make sure it's nice and dry before continuing, so with these rules of thumbdollar tree you don't have to use this but this is what I use remove those little plastic tabs and then I'm going to cut this to fit the width of each box to have a little shelf so I marked it using a little marker and then cut it out using my mini saw or a regular saw.
You will add glue to the sides. You can also add a little heat. glue so it stays in place and make sure it's nice and straight now because we don't waste. I used the end of the ruler that I cut off and I'm going to make a little stand for it. So for this I used an old picture frame that had one of these little things on it that I had torn off before it was an e6000 and hot glued it in place and I made sure that where I added it I would have a little bit of a sag with this now you're going to use e6000 with hot glue.
I realized I only use hot glue, but make sure you use wood glue or something. You can skip this step and just mount it on the wall, but now you have a place to display your glasses or any small number nine items. I'm going to use these canvases from Dollar Tree. You'll find them in the Crafter Square section and, if you don't have one, usually in the Small Arts and Crafts section. section that Dollar Tree has, they will have the canvases. I removed the actual canvas part and now you can cover this with free stir sticks from Walmart Lowe's where I'm going to use giant popsicles because I didn't have enough stir sticks, but yeah.
I know they will provide it for free so I am using wood glue. You can use any wood glue you want to add and I left a little space between them, nothing too noticeable but just make sure you space this out before securing it. instead, turn it over and let it dry on a safe surface and now I'm going to work on my beads. You can use dollar tree beads. You can use Amazon accounts. You can use whatever you want if you are going to use the dollar. the tree ones, make sure they are all the same size, place them on a skewer and paint them if you want a specific color.
I kept this wood natural, so what I'm going to do is just go ahead and use my amazon beads and make them all one size. Now I'm going to put them on a skewer and I'm going to keep them on a skewer so they're nice and straight, so this is for the 10 inch portion of For the frame I made two of these and they both have 20 beads in each section of twenty centimeters. I used 14 beads for each side. I'm going to cut off the end of the skewer and then start securing it in place. Add a little wood glue to keep the beads from moving.
I removed one bead and then used hot glue to place the other bead on top that way the skewer didn't stick out at all and I did this to secure all four. beads into place on the edge of your frame using whatever method you choose, either hot glue or wood glue, a combination of both, and now you'll want to take your additional frame that you removed the canvas from and you'll be I'm going to want to place that on top. , make sure when you do this it's nice and straight, you can dye this, you can paint this, I just did a white wash to make it look a little bit aged, so I grabbed a brush from Dollar Tree and some paint and I just did random strokes now here is michaels original which is much larger and here is mine number eight.
I'm using these craft sticks from Dollar Tree, you can use the thick ones, you can use the thinner ones, and I. I'm going to put this on a stove with some water and I'm going to let it boil so I'm going to make more sticks than I think I need because some of these are going to break when you try to bend them so make sure you're wearing gloves when You take this out and I'm going to grab a vase from the dollar tree and then when I take it out, I'm going to bend it and then I'm going to push it into the vase.
Make sure it's straight if it cracks, that's why we made the extra ones, but we always make more than you need. By the way, I'm wearing thermal gloves under my oven mitts. I just didn't want to get them wet, so make sure you do. You're using something to protect your hands from the heat now let this dry really well I mean two or three days well you don't want it to be wet because it will lose its shape and now I'm going to start shaping it. facing each other to make a small lantern shape. I use this little frame from Dollar Tree.
I found it in the Crafter Square section and basically took it apart. I used two of these to create the top and bottom of my lantern. I'm going to start hot gluing one in front of the other, you can mark them in place if you want, I use those little black hooks as a guide, you can also use wood glue, but I wanted an instant hold for you, make sure you're constantly checking for the top piece is lined up with the bottom with the way you place the sticks and then rearrange them as you see fit which is why I like to use the hot glue now I was missing a popsicle stick so I should I made some more of the ones I thought, but when I was done, I hot glued the top piece in place and then went ahead and made a little bead handle using the same method I've used in all of these tutorials.
I gave it a coat of brown paint thinned with water. The number seven is an additional craft because it is basically the same thing in a different format. I'll leave the original video below, but I didn't want to add it here because it's the same thing now. number six, I'm using dollar tree raffia and I'm going to do the same method as before, tie the top, cut off the excess and then tape it to a table and create a braid all the way down depending on how thick you you do your braids, that's what will depend on how many you do in a Dollar Tree pizza pan.
I'm going to take my braid and start rolling it out of the mold first so I can put it right in the middle and then I'm going to put it in the middle and start rolling it all the way up making sure the ends are tucked in so it looks neat and I'm going to do this until cover the interior and part of the exterior as well. and I start moving my rope up making sure it's nice and straight to create a little basket and for this I used three braids in total and tucked them in so it looks nice and straight with some dollar tree paper towel holders. narrowing this down, this was hard so if you have better supplies great, if not my husband helped me with this I'm going to grab some raffia and this is time consuming but worth it in the end.
I'm going to bend. forward, making sure they're all the same curvature and then with some raffia I'll start tying it at one end and then just wrap it all the way around. Carefully wrapping it in raffia totally changes the look. I can barely tell that these are paper towel holders or napkin rings, so now once I've made my way around, I'm going to turn my pizza pan over, lay them out and mark them and then grab them. a little bit of glue and secure it in place use whatever glue you choose you can use e6000 you can use super glue whatever you want once it's dry this is what it looks like and I regret not making this number one the number five is a plus because I took that same top piece and added handles to it.
I'll leave the original below, but look how beautiful it looks, number four. I use these DIY wood frames from Dollar Tree. These are a summer item. I took it apart and took out those little hooks. things and now I'm going to grab a vase from Dollar Tree that you can find in the floral section and what I'm going to do is use a little bit of Dollar Tree glue, add a little bit to my rim and then place it now what you want to do. Make sure that little flat piece is lined up with the bottom so it doesn't look too weird and that when you're hot gluing the top it's nice and straight.
The dollar tree has these wooden pegs, but if you don't have them, then bamboo skewers. It works just as well to mark your wood and cut it and when you cut it you can do it with a mini saw. You can do this with a hand saw sold at Dollar Tree. Always make more than you need and with some wood from Dollar Tree. glue I'm going to secure this in place. You can make a combination of wood glue and hot glue. Just make sure you're nice and neat when doing this so the glue doesn't get everywhere.
I let it dry with a little weight. up and the next day I took it off and covered the whole thing with some watery brown paint because lately I've been avoiding stains so you need to cover all of this if you want to make your life easier, sand everything before assembling. It looks good and even when it was completely dry I added some nautical rope on top, I used the brown one simply because this one holds its shape, the white one becomes flexible so I just added hot glue in each corner for projects This way , I always recommend using LED candles instead of real candles because you don't want accidents and look how unique this looks, number three and probably one of my most recreated crafts of

2020

.
I'm using these table tennis balls from Dollar Tree. find them in the toy section and sometimes you can find them on random end caps, right where you see that little seam you can go ahead and use a drill, make sure you press down before you start drilling so it doesn't slip or I can use the end of a hot glue gun, a hot skewer, fancy and cheap, recreated this and she used, I think, a hot skewer, so if you don't have a drill, use it all the way and remove some of the excess and now. We're going to put them on a skewer to make it easier to paint and I painted them using spray paint.
This is a beautiful almond color that I had used on the pinecones before, so I'm going to paint it with spray paint making it in very, very. light layers you can put this on cardboard or whatever you want and to make it look even more real just mix the combination of brown paints and dry brush them to make them look like real wood and remove some of that shine for the wreath part. I used these 3D wreath shapes from Dollar Tree and took them apart and with some pliers cut them in half so I could start making loops with my ping pong balls, but I'm going to remove those little hooks and make sure.
Make them nice and flat so no one gets hurt, so when I put them up I'll make sure all the seams are facing the same direction. Now for the bottom, I'm going to grab some floral masking tape. around to have a place to add my flowers and then at the end of those beads, I'm going to add a thick amount so they don't move during the spring. The dollar tree has a lot of foliage, but I'm using greenery that I had from a bag of Michael's and I'm going to secure it in place using that same floral tape.
The floral ribbon is also from Dollar Tree and now I'm going to add some flowers that I also had in my grab bag with a dollar tree combo, so these are the roses from the dollar tree and then I added some tulips from the grab bag. michael surprises number two is a plus because it's the same wreath just using that beautiful warm candy color and different greenery and flowers from Dollar Tree and Michaels and just changing the color definitely changes the look and feel of number one. I'm going to grab a pizza pan. This one is very easy, but it is one of my favorites.
Now I'm going to take a sanding sponge and I'm going to sand everything so that the paint that I'm going to add will adhere and not come off over time, trust me take your time with this because this will ensure that it lasts so now I'm going to give it a coat of fusion white, you can paint it any color you want, but I really love how natural white wood looks, so make sure you let it dry before turning it over and doing the other side. The key to most of these crafts is having a little patience so the next day once everything is nice and dry I will move on to making the border for this and for this I use the dollar tree wood snakes.
This is a very easy craft, but oh my goodness, you can see it. How beautiful, so I'm going to go ahead and cut off the tail and head. Now you want to cut that way instead of lengthwise to make it easier to cut. I'm using that little dollar tree saw which is not the

best

but this works perfectly. Now save them because I'll link the original video below with the tails. I make this really cool little table lift or candle lift, whatever you want to call it, so all the videos are linked. down now you're going to reduce to 22 because that's the midpoint and you're going to make the cut there now that you have that cut.
I use these elastic bands from Dollar Tree. You can use any elastic band you have and this one. It'll help me keep the shape while it dries, so I'm just going to clip it on the bottom. I end up snagging it somewhere. Make sure to sand the bottom if you have an orbital sander which would be much better but if not the sanding sponge from Dollar Tree works too so just keep placing the rubber band where you see fit and once that's done you can move on to place them on the tray before securing them, make sure you space them again accordingly because you will need to leave a little space depending on whether you areusing a Dollar Tree pizza pan or one you used that is a little larger.
This is where I want it to be spaced out. You can use a small mark, but I'm going to make a mixture of glue and hot glue. Make sure they dry very well overnight and check how sturdy they are, if any of them are loose after the next day, then just repeat the process, remove the hot glue. and do this all over again and then go ahead and take off the rubber bands and oh my gosh look at this I really hope you enjoyed this video let me know which one you would have chosen as number one and as always thank you so much.
Thank you so much for watching, I appreciate you sticking with me through

2020

and I hope we have a great 2021 together. Thank you so much for watching and I hope to see you next time.
