characters

that never should have. We've been allowed to raise the mighty weapon from continuity issues to simple traps to keep Neo around. Let's take a look at all those who put their hands on the hammer, but we are definitely

The Merc with the mouth is violent, arrogant and pretty much does what he wants, it doesn't exactly fulfill him. The criteria for the role being worthy of wielding Mjolnir in any form would have been a huge insult to show him on screen with Thor's hammer, but it all seems pretty fair in the comics, for example Deadpool #37 in the issue. Deadpool spends several panels with Loki before the god of mischief decides to gift him Mjolnir. Deadpool can summon the Hammerfly with it and use its powerful force to eliminate others, but in typical Deadpool fashion, he has other plans which include playing a game of carnival hammer. and using a nearby mule as a bat in a baseball game, of course Loki is also known as the Prince of Lies and it turns out that the windmill near Deadpool's head was actually fake, at least he got to cosplay for a time, even wearing the traditional four-piece suit. and the twist ending makes sense because we don't see any future in which Deadpool is worthy.

Black Widow has been through thick and thin with his fellow Avengers. He was there at Tony Stark's side before The Avengers existed in the Avengers era of Ultron. She didn't even attempt to lift Thor's hammer, probably because she knew that no matter what, there was too much red in her ledger to make her worthy, despite her dark history with the Red Room and the missions we hope to see in the future. In the upcoming Black Widow solo movie, the hero managed to get close to Neal in the pages of Marvel Comics, probably when she shouldn't have.

Granted, the events took place within the pages of Marvel's What If series, but she still featured a situation where she was holding the hammer. In the story, Thor dies and Black Widow visits her great and quickly realizes that she can easily lift a nearby mule after relying on her own combat skills for years. It's nice to see her have more powers, but of all the other Avengers, she would be one of the least likely to be worthy of carrying Thor's torch by holding the hammer, she quickly transformed from her black leather jumpsuit into an inspired cape. in Thor and everything moves forward 40 years later and we learned what a powerful heroine she was throughout the Marvel years.

The comics have shown that sometimes it's not about being worthy enough to move linearly, but rather having the brute strength to do so, and considering the massive power of the hammer, a Hulk-sized amount of strength would be needed. The Incredible Hulk has used her power. to make me move linearly, but the enormous force of destruction has never really been considered worthy of holding the hammer and using it as its own weapon. The only way to hold and use it happened when Hulk took advantage of a huge loophole in Avengers Assemble comic number four, Hulk found himself under the influence of Thanos and his mind control powers before the Avengers could attack Thanos.
Hulk resorted to grabbing the food he was holding in his hand nearby and hit the god of thunder with his own hammer on the cover of The issue shows Hulk holding the hammer alone, but this was not what actually happened in the pages of the comic, It was more of a fantasy inspired cover and there have been many dream and fantasy sequences in which Hulk has held me close on other occasions despite never being considered worthy, Magneto has the ability to control multiple types of iron using his superpowers. mutants, but there have always been exceptions. Thor zuru created Mjolnir no matter what happened, if magneto is not considered worthy then he couldn't have the superpowers of the hammer or else magneto always gets what he wants and the rules were completely changed for the Ultimate Universe the Ultimate Universe didn't have to follow the same rules as the traditional Marvel Universe and thanks to this several loopholes were used to allow magneto to control milner.
The final version of Thor's hammer was also crafted from some iron, giving Magneto the convenient method of holding the weapon. Controlling the electromagnetic error around the hammer. Magneto was able to hold it when no one else could, being one of the most

unworthy

characters to lift the hammer. It stands to reason that Magneto can only physically lift him instead of having access to all the powers. Basically, Magneto could throw powerful punches, but nowhere near the same kind of abilities and impact that Thor has when using the weapon in the first Thor movie. Odin cast a dignity charm on me linear and it took Thor a long time to learn the lesson and earn the dignity of keeping Neil around again with all the high standards to follow, it seems almost impossible that Loki would ever be able to use his brother's hammer .
It's foolish to think you were ready, Father, we never got to see it in one of Loki's many appearances in the MCU, but the comics are a completely different story. We all know Loki wouldn't be considered worthy enough, so there it is. he tricked Deadpool into keeping me linear. Loki used some of his own tricks to hold the mighty hammer in the ground. Series X. All Asgardians become formless beings. When Loki discovers the powers and abilities associated with formlessness, he decides to become his own version of himself. from Thor as part of this creation, Loki gets his own linear version of me and is deemed worthy enough to hold his own weapon, so the Earth X series may be more of a side story than the official Canon, but Loki found a way to hold and use the hammer that his brother has taunted him with his entire life in the MCU.
There are few characters that have sustained me on the big screen. One of the first to do so, besides Thor, was a vision of the Age of Ultron, he saw many heroes. He tries to lift the hammer without success. The scene's payoff came later in the film, when Vision did it with ease. The lifting of the mule nearby did not indicate that the vision was worthy, it was more of a gap. Vision is not a living creature. therefore, the hammer enchantment does not apply to it, making it easier to pick up and use the mule nearby when necessary, while the use of the hammer in the visions was a great joke and a fun reward.
Some key moments in the MCU may have been better without him, for example, imagine. If no one had used Mule around besides Thor until the events of the endgame, Captain America's shining moment was already epic, but it would have been elevated even higher. The visions of using kneeling nearby didn't feel the same in any way compared to the Captain. America, interestingly, despite having Mule around in the movie, the vision in the comics has never held the hammer. There is nothing like a good crossover to get into the realm of logic and see yourself alone or get used to characters you never expected, in this case we are. talking about the one and only Conan the Barbarian in another Marvel series who basically throws a hammer at more than just the Home Depot workers.
Conan the Barbarian and Thor teamed up to take on the evil Amon and the story, Thor gets into some typical trouble. Being sent back in time and stranded on a world full of barbarians, Thor is eventually defeated and dies in the story, leaving the hammer open for the taking. Conan gets his hands on the hammer and all the new powers allow him to take on Thoth Amon and Conan's ultra-violent history and violent lifestyle probably don't make him worthy, but as a hypothetical story, it's all more accepted since it doesn't it's more than some kind of professionally published fanfiction, if this were Arnold Schwarzenegger's version of Conan the Barbarian.
It would be a completely different story if you thought Guardians of the Galaxy was pretty weird with a talking raccoon and a walking tree, then you've never read Simon Walter's origin story after the college football player does a deal with a witch and doesn't pay her, she transforms him into a frog when a piece of NIR mule falls off. The frog grabs a piece and instantly transforms into a throg. The character is essentially a frog version of Thor. You know what if you dressed up. The mascot frog is the god of thunder and he brought it to Comic Con for a cosplay contest, so technically Throg didn't keep Neil close, but his own smaller version, which has been nicknamed Close Frog for those who follow the clue, being a heroic frog, there was only one.
What Throg could do and that was join the Avengers mascots, yes there is a whole team of superhero mascots but I don't expect to see them on the big screen anytime soon. Oddly enough, there was a separate story where Loki turned the real Thor into a frog and he was still able to hold the hammer. There's nothing like a good Marvel Comics companion to help add narrative flow, provide key plot points, and help our heroes when needed over the years. One of the best sidekicks has been Rick Jones while we've never officially seen him in the MCU, the character has been an important comic book sidekick for heroes like Hulk, Captain America, and Captain Marvel, among others.
Well, don't deny the power of these companions because Rick Jones managed to hold the powerful Mjolnir and yes, time. Travel and alternate futures were involved in the comics. Jones is visited by good and evil versions of himself, one of which comes from the imperfect reality of the future. It was this good version of Rick Jones who revealed that he was worthy of bringing Mill close to showing the current Rick. what he could achieve in the future, so there are two Ricks interacting at the same time and only one of them is a worthy man. Odin really had to whisper a lot to the hammer to help resolve all these clauses, so why don't we do it? just go ahead and say that the Man of Steel should now be referred to as the ooh yeah man, in a cash grab looking to feed the Marvel and DC fanbases the Justice League and the Avengers had an epic crossover comic series and Superman got involved in a way we never thought he would.
Superman's enormous strength couldn't even lift a mule nearby, but thanks to another loophole we got to see him wield a hammer even though he probably doesn't need it to fight, so how did the former resident of Krypton do it? obtaining the ability to carry the simple hammer Odin allowed him through another enchantment Superman gained the ability to lift a mule nearby for battle, but as soon as the fight was over, the ability to lift the hammer was removed, the entire switch on/off on Neil nearby was a bit much, but it was still pretty cool to see Supes carrying the hammer, even if his value wasn't true to the weapons origins and yes, Batman was probably a little jealous, we've seen some great heroines become worthy of supporting Milne.
Over the years, including characters like Jane Foster and X-Men Storm, a character who cheated to hold the hammer without proving herself, it's time to return to the pages of another hypothetical Marvel comic, this time focusing on The rogues interaction with Thor Rogue's mutant power is the ability to absorb the powers and energy of others, which certainly comes in handy when placing his hand on the god of thunder once he absorbs Thor's powers. The rogue can cheat to use Mjolnir like the silly hammer must have done. He thought he was still Thor, albeit with a drastic change in hairstyle as part of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.
In this comic rogue he has no heroic intentions with the hammer and kills several members of the Avengers in the process, eventually Thor's power and emotional core overcomes his obligation to force his rogue to do the right thing and join the good side. once again even with the change of heart she still didn't prove herself and just held the hammer thanks to her deception, it seems like there are an infinite amount of loopholes when it comes to holding Mjolnir, we've seen Loki pose Thor as a rogue to steal his powers and Superman gets a special clause built in just for when he's in battle.
For the next entry, we present an evil clone of Thor nicknamed Ragnarok, the clone was initially created with intentions. to be good and in place of the absence of Thor, Tony Stark, Ant-Man and Mr. Fantastics all combined their knowledge to create Ragnarok, but the cyborg hero ended up being anything but heroic at first. Ragnarok was able to use a duplicate of Mjolnir, a weapon that featured the same powers and functions without theconcern to be worthy, but after Ragnarok he was sent to an alternative. He was actually able to become worthy of holding the real Mjolnir without any explanation, oddly enough, not carrying linearity in this alternate reality meant that Thor's evil clone would have to be completely bald.
Yeah, we can't make this stuff up in Thor Ragnarok that we saw. Thor and Hulk fight on the battlefield, but when Thor faced Red Hulk and Marvel Comics, the result was a completely different story, not only is Red Hulk not worthy of holding on to my ear, but the way he It made fans very angry and many want it. The entire story was taken from Marvel history, so let's recap it for you and see if you agree as Thor's hammer flies into the atmosphere. Red Hulk takes the tent and then holds onto the handle of the hammer for a ride, okay?
So, because Thor was being held by Red Hulk, he could technically make the same trip. Great, we also saw Hulk do this before. Now here's where things get a little sketchy once Red Hulk and Thor are floating in space. Red Hulk can keep the windmill close. all at his expense, what is the reasoning that there is no gravity that forces the hammer to lower? That's a pretty big problem because it was never gravity that kept the hammer from holding. Thor has had a lot of family problems over the years, but there was a point where things got so bad that his brother and father decided there had to be a replacement, in came Roger Norville, who basically looked like a red-haired Thor.
Roger wasn't an Asgardian or anyone you would consider a hero, he was just a camera. The man set out to capture images for a documentary about Asgard when the documentary plans do not go as expected. Loki takes advantage of Roger and grooms him to be a replacement for Thor after proving himself worthy and being killed in the process. Odin brings him back to life. and it actually goes according to Loki's plan, so yes, an ordinary cameraman is considered worthy of keeping Neil around, but only due to Odin's discretion and manipulation after Roger takes over the role of Thor, his duties as a hero are not just a one-off miniseries in which he appears.
In many stories he has a rivalry with Thor and mixes it with other heroes like the Hulk, at the end of the day he's just not the same Thor we know and love, although the story seems pretty far-fetched in the big screen version. by Thor Roger Norville might be better than Thor the Dark World, I'm just saying it seems like every time Thor comes into contact with an Android the non-human finds a way to take over the nearby mule and use it against Thor, this is exactly the case of Airwalker, the Android. The fighting machine has a complicated history in the world of Marvel Comics.
He started out as Nova Corps Captain Gabriel Lin before his soul was transferred into the body of an Android fighting machine called Air Walker with the nickname Angel of Death. The fire-winged warrior proved to be an ideal opponent for Thor, especially after he trapped Neil nearby, there have been many disputes about how Air Walker was able to easily hold the hammer and use it against Thor. Some point to the entire Android loophole, while others point to the Nova Corps. The only being worthy of holding it in any way, the aerial actions that Walker performs at the moment of wielding Mjolnir are definitely not worthy, not only was our Walker able to use the weapon, but also the cover of him holding a lifeless Thor in one hand and a mule nearby and the other is quite iconic, it makes you want to read the whole story.
Wow, now that you've seen all the characters who weren't worthy of seeing our friends at CBR as they discuss which heroes were definitely worthy of keeping Neill around during Now, leave us a comment and tell us who was the most unworthy of keeping me around. Lanier, did Superman deserve to take him? Any great ones we missed, thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe to Screen Ride for more great content.
