is that its the only one in our house that we can store everything in her so we have our towels here we have a lot of our backup supplies or Costco shoppers so we like to buy in bulk and we make a place to store all that stuff so this is what my

closet

used to look like and it's really bad guys i basically have to go through first and clear so get rid of everything we definitely weren't going to use so a lot of the stuff we ended up donating we're seeing a head bought in bulk, when i used to use coupons i cleaned everything i cleaned the floors so next thing i did was evaluate the closet a very common mistake people make when they are decluttering and

organizing

any space is to go out and buy a bunch of similar organization items and ended up not necessarily using all of them or it just ended up creating more clutter so a better way to go about it is to look at the space look at the items you need to organize and then make a note of how many compartments you need so I measured all the shelves first just made sure my bins really fit on my shelf, then I took a picture of my closet and took it with me every time I went shopping for the bins I needed.

I always referred to my photo whenever I saw containers and thought I needed it. I really think it looks less weird if you try it in the same color family so I went with white and cream which was with my color palette so before I start putting everything on the computer I like to take all the bins and put them inside the closet and giving them the skeleton shape of the closet or starting to organize all this gives me a better idea of ​​how everything is going to turn out in the end, another thing that helps everything look super organized is the way it folds, I think in a very specific way that I like to fold the towels, they just fold them in half and then I fold them in half again and then I fold each edge into each other the way I show you here and try to fold them in the same direction so when they are stacked they look super even and all you can see is like the smooth edge and it looks very professional like a department store i also folded all the hand towels i won't miss similar to a fist the smallest towels and two mobiles could put them inside a basket i'm really really bad at folding sheets i just decided i'd keep all my sheets in one of these really nice baskets so they're not perfectly folded it doesn't matter because they're all in that basket .

I also found this really cool housewares container that had a glass lid and I thought this would be perfect to replace this really dirty drawer I had in there that had so much random stuff in there but basically I'd use potting bandages and stuff like that and this box is see through so you can definitely see everything in there and i love it the only thing is it had a little piece of wood in the middle and it wouldn't let me put bigger items in so i took some pliers and pulled that one out and now i can fit bigger items so i love this organization thing.

I also keep things like light bulbs and batteries and these plastic bins that slam shut and it's a much better way of remembering where everything is and then I keep all of that inside a bigger basket that has all the stuff that I don't really take as close to. often but i need so this is the same place i keep my vacuum bags so remember that little wire shelf i told you i had in kitchen supplies i'm using this to maximize space in one of the shelves so on the bottom I put folded hand towels and these get replaced very often so I definitely want them somewhere I can grab them and go and I don't have to be rummaging through a basket and then on top of that is where I put the little organizer that has the latest in pornography and the Band-Aids and things like that.

I also put my cleaning supplies in a basket and we left any day. i could just pull it out and carry it from room to room another way i maximize my space was to stack things on top of each other so i got this acrylic drawer i think this is from the container store it's perfect to go under a box that opens because you can open bills at the same time without having to remove one from the other and this white lacquer box I only keep candles I pass around tea lights quite often so I have them all in there I love to make things look pretty guys so i ended up putting a picture i had lying around, i put it on top of a

linen

closet and then just these really pretty flowers i found at HomeGoods. a spa feeling in the

linen

closet and it makes me so happy as this closet is also for all our backup stuff we buy at Costco.

I don't want all of them so I got these really big baskets of housewares and that's what we're going to keep all of our stuff back up well so now this really cool part was actually inspired by one of my friends her it's really into crafts and gift wrapping and things like that and she told me about this thing called the Alpha system it's so easy to hook to

I knew for sure that I wanted it for gift wrapping and packaging supplies and then I bought an additional basket on top. I keep some tissues, back-up lotions and other things. well greeting cards also tape my scissors other things i need for gift wrapping and this part of gift wrapping is so cool you buy the basket and then you buy this little accessory that allows the gift wrapping to tip over and it's awesome guys I can. Now every time I see a nicely wrapped gift for sale, I'm going to think I have a place to keep it.

I really love it and I think it's a great solution if you're looking for something like what I am. using it because I love how it turned out and I think we could actually maximize the space even more by adding some shelves to the side of the linen closet, but for now I'm very, very happy with the way the space has turned out.
