Thank you so much. I hope you have happy holidays and now let's start the video. Say thank you Cooper, thank you please, feed me mommy. We're starting with my favorite Dollar Tree DIY. You want to pick up some of their rollers and you're just. I'm going to sand them, I'm going to use 14 of them, so what I do is I take five, I glue them all together and then I make another set of that, so I have two sets of five rollers after the glue. has completely dried, I take my other four rollers and glue them to the two longest pieces I made and place those individual rollers horizontally so that you have the larger pieces vertically and then the smaller ones horizontally.

I'm using wood. glue to make this and ended up securing it in place with some hot glue. You will see some gaps when you glue the rollers and you can fill those gaps using a little hot glue. I'll probably use a wood filler if you want to cover the hot glue then I'm going to stain my wood. I'm using a minimal wax wood finish in dark walnut. You can use a wood stain. You can use acrylic paint. use a spray paint which will be up to you but this is my favorite wood stain. I decided to liven it up a bit by using nautical rope from Dollar Tree.

I ended up placing it around the rollers that make up the steps. of my staircase and then I liked a crisscross design it's up to you what you do you don't even have to do this but I love this and as you can see I was making a staircase if you haven't seen this. tutorial I was already very proud of this DIY, that's why it's my favorite because I haven't seen any

dollar

tree

stairs made before, especially in this scale, so I was very proud to be able to create something like this using just a

dollar

tree

.

products

and it was very inexpensive to make, it ended up only costing me 15.
I already had the wood stain on hand and the glue so all I needed were the rollers and the nautical rope so I ended up decorating this a bit. I tied a wreath on top. I used a small dollar tree basket and a zip tie to attach it to one of the ladder rungs and then that way you could fill it with whatever you wanted at the bottom. I put up a placemat from Walmart to give it a sort of blanket look and that's how my staircase turned out. This is my favorite dollar tree DIY I've ever made.
I'm very proud of him. I was very excited to create one from the first dollar. Tree

products

are just ladders, so the following DIY is what really put me on the map and I think it's my most viewed Dollar Tree video. You want to pick up some of their little boxes right now. They carry sterilization boxes. They are friendly. this way but the little holes in it are shaped like a circle so what I ended up doing was putting a bunch of these boxes together using some zip ties when I first made one of these I had used e6000 and then discovered there was a better one . way to do this using zip ties, you can see my boxes are a little messy because I recycled them from another DIY.
I tend to recycle a lot of my DIYs if I don't plan on using them to decorate my house. Recycle the products so I can use them again for other videos after I have all my boxes connected. I went ahead and painted this with metallic gold spray paint if you're going to use something that's a little more matte glossy. or metallic, you can apply some sandpaper to the plastic and scuff it up a bit, but metallic spray paint applies very well to plastic. In my opinion, you don't need to sand things. I've had good luck with that.
I have never had to sand something to make sure metallic spray paint would stick to it. Oh, and the brand I'm using is Rust-oleum. It's just their gold metallic spray paint. I really love this one. I decided to give it a marble look so I ended up picking up some self adhesive tiles to stick on the back. I bought them for 79 cents so what I ended up doing was taking the self adhesive vinyl tiles and cutting them to fit the cube organizer so you just take a utility knife cut it and then to break it up you just start bending the tile and it will break up and you'll get a very nice clean cut, so I went ahead and placed those tiles inside the cube. organizer, just measure it, you may have different cubes, so the measurements may be a little different.
The next thing I did was grab some 5x7 gold frames that I picked up from the Dollar Tree and I ended up removing the glass from the inside of the frame, then I grabbed some marble contact paper that I also bought at Menards and used that contact paper to place it on top of those pieces of glass, then I put the glass back into the frame and ended up putting three frames in. on the top of my cube organizer I used Gorilla glue to do this. This is my first time using a Gorilla glue pen. It basically says you like to wet the material and then apply the glue and I really don't know.
If you need to do that for this and you can also use a hot glue gun if you decide I needed to add a little pressure to the frames to really stick them to the cube organizers so I used some little clamps that I bought from Dollar Tree. to do that and that's how I made this cube organizer, it ended up being my most popular video. It came out really nice and then I ended up doing more in the future. I ended up making this farmhouse one, which is my favorite. I still have this one. one is currently in my basement with some lightning bolt mugs in it, this is my favorite cube organizer I've ever made and if I remember I'll link it below for you guys, next time I'll show you my favorite DIY box.
I did it again on this channel. You are using the dollar tree boxes and zip ties. You're joining the boxes together, but this time I attach three together and make two of them, so two sets of three boxes joined together and then make. a set of five boxes held together with zip ties once this was done I spray painted it all white. Now I'm going to use this to make a hutch that I had used around my dresser and actually had for a long time. until I ended up moving into a small apartment with Matt after we got married, he currently resides at my parents' house, so after spray painting everything I ended up taking the boxes that have five attached to each other and just putting them in the ones that have three. attached together so I'm basically making the vanity and I ended up putting this on a dollar tree vanity mirror.
I'll show you in a second how I ended up doing that. Now everything turned out very nice. I didn't really like the little holes that you could see where the part of the shelf where I would put the makeup would be, so I grabbed a foam board from Dollar Tree and just cut pieces to fit the inside of my boxes and this. It would act as the shelf part. This was another one that was very inexpensive to make. It ended up costing me about 13 and it

looks

so pretty. You can see I had put my makeup inside there.
This has already happened. This is young Bethany. doing this and you can see it's really very pretty, I love this. This will take you to the dresser and you can see that this video is old. My dog Penny was still alive. Oh, I miss her so much. I love her. I'm so glad I go back to watching YouTube sometimes and I'm so grateful to have some of these videos because there are pennies in them and it warms my heart anyway. What I ended up doing was taking a mirror from the dollar tree now from the dollar tree now.
It takes framed mirrors that come off very easily but in the past when I've done this I've had to bend the frame to get the mirror out and then I'll use some push lights, they're LED push lights so that means they have a cool shade every time. Light requires three triple A batteries. I ended up using the dollar tree sunbeam AAA batteries inside these and they worked for a long time for me, but that's because I didn't always have the lights on now. The lights have a self adhesive on the back and that is what you will use to stick them right on top of the base of what is going to be our vanity, so I kept filling the batteries and then moved on to the base of what is supposed to be the base of the vanity. dresser and that is a dollar tree foam board so what I do is I take the foam board and a utility knife and get out a ruler and a pencil and figure out where the mirror and the lights are going to go and I want to measure every place where where the lights will be because I don't want to just blindly turn on the lights and then it ends up looking all uneven and they just don't line up on both sides, so I made sure I measured everything perfectly before I glued the lights on, I marked everything very lightly so I know where to place the lights. lights and where to place the mirror.
Once I had everything marked, I then cut off the excess foam board, you will have excess foam. board unless you can find a longer mirror, but the dollar tree doesn't actually carry longer mirrors, there are really only three different sizes you can get after making it. I go ahead and place my push lights on top of the dash. I did not do it. glue them immediately or not glue them at all. I didn't have to glue them. I just have to remove the sticker from the back and stick it to the foam board but I put them on first before gluing them to make sure I get the perfect spacing on everything once that's done then I go ahead and put the push down lights on like I said, it peels and sticks straight and the adhesive is pretty strong, especially on foam boards, and then I went ahead and just glued my mirror on.
I recommend making a couple layers of foam board backing to get it nice and thick, but I had this for a long time. If you watch my videos at the beginning, you'll always see him in the background and around me. and I really like the way it turned out, it was cheap to make, it's like a budget option, I think it's really good for a kids room or a teen room and the lighting works pretty well, but this was definitely what started to help . my channel grew, it wasn't even three years ago that I did this.
Another DIY I loved was this coffee mug rack I made, so I bought these wooden stakes at Walmart. They cost me a dollar and 47 cents each. I ended up using four of them and it made more sense for me to use them instead of anything I was going to get at Dollar Tree because if I tried to do it using something from Dollar Tree it probably would have collapsed on me so still very close to the price you would pay at Dollar Tree So what I'm doing is I'm taking two stakes. of wood that will be the sides of my coffee rack and then I'll take one of the stakes and cut it. about the length of those little hooks, I continue marking it and then I used a small hand saw to cut this dollar tree.
He carries hand saws, but they're terrible, I actually don't even know if I see them anymore, maybe because they kind of break in two seconds. I bought this one for two dollars and 47 cents at Walmart and it works very, very well,so I go ahead and cut these pieces out using that handsaw. After cutting those pieces out, I start attaching the small wall hook. The top of the wood pieces come with little screws like I said, so I ended up using those screws. I just screwed those screws straight through the wood and don't worry, it's not like the screws stick out on the back of the wood just because it's thin.
I think some of you might think that, but no, it's not like that. I only used a screwdriver to do this just because the wood is thinner. so just go right through it but if you want to use it as a drill you can do that after I have my wood pieces with the hooks attached I start attaching those pieces to the sides of my coffee mug rack to hold the wood, I had used a staple gun that I bought at Walmart, it was very economical, it worked very well for me, I used to do it a lot during 2019, not much this year just because I haven't done any projects too big because I like it.
I said I was pregnant and now I just don't have time for something like this right now. I recommend using wood glue first and then using the staple gun. I ended up grabbing some cooling racks and was going to use them. this or I used it inside this DIY, but before I attached the rest of the hooks, I made sure the cooling racks fit between the space of the hooks, so they weren't attached yet, I was just attaching them. I made sure I got the spacing right after placing those pieces. I turned this thing around and then secured it with some more staples.
These are the cooling racks from Dollar Tree that I use. Lately they cost a dollar, although I feel like it. They only have one size and it's bigger and it's just one for a dollar so it's hit and miss to go to the dollar tree to put the cooling racks on, I use zip ties I put it through the cooling rack and then there's a little bit there is a little space under the wall hooks where you can thread the zip tie through and that's how I got it to stay in place. You can see it here.
I ran it through that little piece of metal and then I just hooked it to the cooling rack and I zip it up and then I go ahead and cut it off so there's not a bunch of weird zip tie pieces hanging off the back of this. Once the cooling racks are in place, I went ahead and spray painted this all white and placed it on my wall. I ended up using nails. I put like three nails in the wall and they stood out. I used longer nails and just placed the shelf on top of there.
And that's how it stayed in place. I also added some command strips to help secure it a little bit more, but there are other things you can do, you know, they take pictures to hang, things that you can use like saw teeth, that's what they're called, you can use that on the back of this, there are others that you can use on the back of this to hang it that way. This ended up working for me. This was inside my apartment the entire time I lived there and I lived there for eight months, I think it was, and it was hanging there the entire time.
I ended up decorating this a bit. I didn't just put cups on it. I used a small hanging wire organizer that I got from back then. I simply placed it as a wooden garland. I added a small bucket from Dollar Tree with an Ikea planted bead garland. This thing is very nice and I still have it. In fact, I simply haven't placed it. It's actually in Cooper's nursery closet. I use those cooling racks and another one of my favorite crafts that is similar to the one I just made. What I did was get the cooling racks, so what the heck are some zip ties from Dollar Tree and then I'll use wooden stakes again from Walmart.
I ended up using three stakes for this DIY. What I do is take the cool down. racks and I start placing them around the stake so that the stakes are next to what I'm doing or on the sides of what I'm doing and then I make sure they're tight on the cooling racks. I started laying out the cooling racks, overlapping them a bit, and then zip-tied them into place. I ended up using four cooling racks in total, after I had all the cooling racks in place I went ahead and spray painted them white. I painted, then I took my wooden stakes, the ones that are going to be for the sides, and I just cut the tip off with my hand saw because I really didn't want that tip there, then I took my third piece and cut.
It's just the top and bottom of what I'm doing so I just use my handsaw to cut that out and to attach the wood I used a little bit of wood glue and then I used the staple gun so at least to this DIY. I did that, the other one, I wish I had done that just because the wood glue just acts or adds extra security. Then I stain the wood with that minwax dark walnut stain which, especially during 2019, I used on absolutely everything that I then put on my refrigerator. racks to this to hold it.
This time I used black zip ties from Dollar Tree and looking back I wish I had brown zip ties or I would have painted the zip ties. I basically ended up using this. As an organizer, one dollar tree option for containers that I ended up using at Target was to get black dollar tree containers and what you could do is zip tie them to the cooling racks to make it look a little better. Some little picture frames from Dollar Tree flipped the paper that was inside them and then I ended up putting like mail on top of one of them, pens on top of the other, like I said I ended up using something from Target instead so I Glued the frames from the photos to the Target ones and these things from Target cost me three dollars each.
I ended up using these metal hanging containers that had hooks on the back, they were a dollar each and then also some metal clips from Target. from the bullseye playground, I went ahead and just hooked them right onto my cooling rack like I said, although you can use Dollar Tree products instead and use zip ties to hold it down, oh Cooper, Cooper's cry, that's it It has anyway, I ended up making this little mail organizer and I love the way it turned out, you can also make jewelry on top of it if you want, you can do different colors, but that's how I ended up decorating mine and I still have this piece.
I save a lot of my dollar. DIY the tree and if I don't save them, I always try to recycle them. My favorite way to decorate this was actually with the wreath. I thought it looked very pretty. The following DIY is the first DIY I featured on the dollar tree. Dollar Tree Instagram page, I picked up these pieces of wood, they're like wood plates and they're real wood, they're solid, pretty thick, pretty sturdy, so I used two of them and joined them together using that staple gun again. . that I bought from Walmart I went ahead and made sure not to be stingy with the staples, I added a bunch, I added a bunch especially on the back and then I turned this thing over and added the staples mostly on the sides of what's on It's going to be my shelf.
However, I wish I had added wood glue to this first and then added the staples, but it worked with just the staples. I went ahead and removed the labels. These labels can be annoying and I'm done. using goo gone to remove it, i tried using soap and water but to no avail. Now I took one more of those little pieces of wood and this one I just hammered a nail into the center and I'm actually going to use this. As a small hook to hold the bucket below, I am taking these metal ones. What are metal hanging brackets?
That's what they're called at Dollar Tree. Now these have little holes inside that you can now use to kneel on the wall. but I ended up using command strips because since I was renting when I did this I didn't want to add too many holes to the wall because I already had some that I put there so I use command strips so if you end up using command strips you want to make sure that you are using the correct amount of command strips for the weight you are placing on top. I ended up doing some light stuff so my command strips worked for me and this never failed. down because I was using command strips, it made it easier for me to make sure the shelf was nice and straight because I put one bracket in, then I put the shelf in there and then I added the second bracket now with the third bracket.
I went ahead and just put it through the holes that are on the top of the brackets with the nail facing up and to that I just put one of these dollar tree cubes, they're three for a dollar, if you can find the package bonus normally, there are like two. For a dollar I added some greenery inside my cube and then placed it on that nail and then just decorated around this thing. I put some cups on the hook part of the stand I had made before you saw the other one. dollar tree mug rack that I just showed you guys and even before that I had only used the dollar tree tool hooks and when I did that that gave me a ton of ideas and I think it gave others too people a lot of ideas so now let's look at another one I'm super proud of when I made my

fake

whipped cream there weren't many Dollar Tree whipped cream tutorials and now everyone does it so you know I'm not saying I'm the one who invented it this, but I think I played an important role and why it became so popular.
This is a newer tutorial because I think I perfected the whipped cream better, uh, the third time and I'm basically done. I started using some cups from Dollar Tree to create some marshmallow cups which I get questions about all the time I bought these designs on etsy. They cost me 3.99. It's worth it and I basically printed them on sticker paper. Use my qriket to cut them. But you can use scissors and then I place them on top of the cups. The cups I have are just white cups and again they are from Dollar Tree, so this is what I am using as a base for my faux whipped cream toppers.
Now this is the star of the show, not the cups, what I'm going to do is take my cup and I'm going to trace it on top of a dollar tree foam board, the top of this is going to be the base of my

fake

whipped cream and you want to do this so you don't have to fill your entire cup with product, you know you're getting more for your money and then you can just take it off and put it on. It is on top of any cup that is the same type of size. Now you want to simulate this, so I ended up using some baseballs, they're plastic ones from Dollar Tree and I cut them in half, now that's why you want to.
Doing this is so you don't have to use a ton of putty and that's what I used. I use putty to do this and if you're just going to use a bunch of putty it will end up sinking on you the first time. I tried this, I ended up using caulk and ended up with a flat looking whipped cream, then I ended up putting some styrofoam underneath and it worked better and this is the best luck I've had so far so next step. a cake decorating kit from Dollar Tree and my putty and I'm basically treating this like frosting.
I open up the putty and what you can do is put that inside the piping bag from Dollar Tree. I ended up being able to take one. of the tips and just putting it right over the hole that I cut and just squeezing it right out of my putty, so I go ahead and just put it around like frosting and I do it on the top of my little baseball bat and I make cream fake shake, like I said, use something to cover the bottom so the putty doesn't sink on you because people say, oh, it just sinks on me, you want to make sure you have something underneath and I

high

ly recommend it. using like the styrofoam balls from the dollar tree or like the plastic balls like when I made this I ended up using putty because I felt it was easier than using putty, but recently I used putty to make something else and you will see you are going to love it , I'm sure it's going to be something that a lot of people will start doing too because it's really cute, but the putty actually works better than the putty, but the putty is I thought it was easier to use, but uh, the putty

looks

good.
I ended up taking some dollar tree play dough and using it to make marshmallows and sprinkles. When I originally made this, I used real sprinkles and the color of the sprinkle blended into the putty, so if you don't want that, you can go ahead and just use some dollar tree clay to make your own marshmallows and sprinkles. You can complete your whipped cream with small decorative pieces or embellishments. I ended up using some mint ornaments that I bought at the hobby lobby and cost me. two bucks I took out of the main ornament and then just glued them inside my putty.
I made a bunch of cute little ornaments and you could see how the marshmallow cups turned out. If you want a more detailed tutorial, I'll remember it. to link all these tutorials in the description box below, the following DIY really inspired me to make other DIYs similar to this one. I am using againthose wooden dollar tree plaques and again I'm attaching two of them side by side. This will be the basis of what I'm doing and then I'll use some dollar tree rules. The rulers are wooden and just have stickers to indicate where the inches are and you just remove them.
What I'm doing is taking two more wooden plates from Dollar Tree and placing my rulers on top of those plates to join them together. I ended up using my staple gun and then some wood glue. Then I went ahead and painted this whole thing black. Now I take that thing that basically looks like a ladder and I use a little bit of wood glue to attach it to the two pieces of wood plates that I placed next to each other, so I put it there and then I just waited for the glue completely dry, you should be sure to remove any excess glue that spills over the sides after the glue dries.
Then I place two more wooden plates, it basically starts to look like a ladder except it has a base at the bottom. and then I add more rules but this time I'm going to place baskets on this and they are the dollar tree baskets and I'm also using some dollar tree zip ties and I just attached them to each of the rules and what I ended up doing was creating basically like I'm using them as a core, but you're supposed to For the kitchen, you could put vegetables and fruits on top of this thing. You can even make it double sided so there are baskets on the front and back of this thing before I ended up gluing and attaching the other rulers I made.
I made sure the spacing between the baskets was perfect, I made sure I had them where I wanted them to be and I had an idea of what I wanted to stick inside them before laying out the rulers at the end of the day, these are really simple. ideas and you can go ahead and change them to better fit your needs and I always say that because I'm using Dollar Tree products and it's not like I'm going to walk into Dollar Tree and find a big old wooden thing. like a 2x4 in there so I try to do the best I can with what I have and I try to be creative with what I have so if you think, this is going to be better with thicker wood and I'm probably going to If you want using screws and all that, you can go ahead and do it.
This is just an idea. There are things you can do to really make it fit your needs and work for what you want to stick inside. This particular thing, I don't recommend putting anything too heavy in there if you're only going to use Dollar Tree products, but I really like this a lot and it ended up inspiring me in the future to try other DIYs. I ended up doing something similar using some paint sticks from Lowe's, they're like 99 cents and come with a bunch and then some baskets from Dollar Tree. I ended up making this little kitchen and I love this thing and it was hanging. my wall for quite a while until Cooper came along and had to put up some bottle shelves because our kitchen is so small and there isn't enough space.
I just checked them, this channel is four years old, not three, oh my god, so before. I'm showing you my latest DIY, let's take a moment to remember old Bethany, she looks super rested, she even did her makeup, that's crazy, that was four years ago, that means I started my channel right before I turned 30 because I I started in December, I remember and I'm going to be 34 next month, so I must have been uh yeah, anyway I must have been 30 here for our final project, which is one of my favorites. That's when I made this mirror wall.
It is very easy to make and does not require any skills. Anyone can do this. You just want to get some mirrors from Dollar Tree. Pick a frame you like so you don't have to spray it with pins or anything and then use command strips. I ended up using just poster command strips. The dollar tree mirrors are super lightweight and ended up working for me, but looking back I would recommend using stronger command strips just because now that I have Cooper, one of the most unlikely. The mirrors fell off because the command strip wasn't the right one, so yeah, use different command strips, these never fell on me and I lived in this house for a year with these things hanging on the wall, they never fell on me , But I like it. with Cooper now it's the last thing I want and the last thing I want to recommend so yeah I probably use better command strips so all you have to do is put the mirrors on the wall that's all I did I glued command strips to the mirror and I stuck them on the wall, it was very inexpensive and looked very pretty, so if you are someone who really loves glamorous decor, I think this would look very pretty inside a bedroom, especially if you If you did it like this on all the walls, I mean you could do it from floor to ceiling if you wanted, I don't know if that would look as good, it might look a little funny, but yeah, that's what I ended up doing and I had this for a while. time. and it was so pretty and something else I was super proud of so those are my 10 favorite dollar tree DIYs I've ever made like I said this last one is my favorite and I think the dresser and the cube organizer hold up a very special place in my heart because I know that those are the ones who helped my channel grow a lot, so again, thank you very much to everyone who has been with me all this time.
I hope you guys continue to stick around and I hope to give you some really good content and I hope you can make mommy feel better, do some cool things and maybe you'll get together one day, you know, when you're a little older it'll be Bergen Bethany and Ganga Cooper sounds good , thank you very much, happy holidays again, see you next time, take care.
